final project 1500 words .. * Sachin Tendulkar*

“The GOD of Cricket” Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar
Nick Name: Little Master, Master Blaster.

CRICKET: Cricket is a game, which is played with a bat and ball. There will be two teams of 11 members each. Both the teams have a turn for batting and fielding. While one team is fielding and bowling the other team bats. From the batting team there will be two players in the field with the bat and the opposition team all the 11 members will be in the field among which one player will bowl to the batsman from the opposition.

And SACHIN RAMESH TENTULKAR born on 24-April-1973 in Bombay, Maharashtra (INDIA) is known as the” LEGEND OF THE CRICKET” and also known as the “GOD OF CRICKET”. There is a famous quote among the cricket lovers and it is told, “If Cricket is our religion then SACHIN is our GOD”. From the above statement it explains how powerful this name in cricket is.
He first started to represent the Indian National Team at the Age of 16. Since then he did not have to look back in his career. Between the years 1992 to 2002 there was a time in Indian Cricket team if Sachin Tendulkar is out the team will never win.
Tendulkar’s during his performance between the years 1994-1999 is told to be the peak in his career that was in his early twenties. His first ODI century was scored on 9-september 1994 against the Australian team and the venue was at Sri Lanka (Colombo) that was his 79’Th international cricket ODI. He then continued to the leading runs scorer every year since then. In the 1996 world cup he was also the leading runs scorer. He scores 2 centuries in the world cup. Although the Indian team could not make it after the Semi Finals his performance in that world cup semi finals was remarkable.
Tendulkar’s career at the Sharjah cricket stadium is unforgettable by any cricket lovers of that time. It was in 1998 in Sharjah cricket stadium he started become one of the leading batsman in the world. That was the he destroyed the world’s best spin bowler Shane Warn of Australia.
There was only one tenure in cricket where he was not quite successful and that was being a captain. As a captain tendulkar did not succeed in the cricket. He first became the captain of the team in the year 1996. There was a huge expectation from the cricket fans of him as a captain.  But due to the poor performance in the Australian tour they beat the Indians by 3-0. Thus the team management decided him as a failure as a captain. And after that he just remained as the integral part of the Indian team’s strategic process.
In the 2003 world cup he scored 673 runs in 11 matches and he was chosen to be the best player of the tournament and after that he remained as the best player of the year in the ICC ranking for 4 consecutive years.
During his peak time of his career there was a back injury that had made him step back from his well-known sixers. Every time tendulkar bats his sixer's was the best part of his games. But after the back injury his doctor advised him not to play the shots of those types hence the end of the sixer era of tendulkar started. But still that did not stop him from creating records in the cricket. There is no records as a bat’s man in not in the name of Sachin tendulkar. And also it is told that there is nothing else as a batsman that is left for him to achieve. It was his greatest dream to win a world cup before he retires from the game and finally that moment to came on his way. And by that victory of the world cup 2011 he has become a player of a life time and it is told that there is no one else will be born in cricket to do things that sachin tendulkar has done. He is simply become the untouchable in the cricket. Every best bowler at his time would fear to bowl to him. He used to destroy every best bowler. The best bowler after he bowls to Sachin he is no more the best bowler. There are several bowlers who lost their careers just because Sachin tampered them to the worst by his bat. And some of the bowlers are Shane Warn (AUSTRALIA), Shoib Akther (Pakistan), Paul Strang (Zimbabwe), Henry Olanga (Zimbabwe), Muralidharan (Srilanka), Wasim Akram (Pakistan), Waqar Younis (Pakistan) many more.
Sachin is the first cricketer in the history of the cricket to score a 200 runs in the International cricket history.  After sachin there were a couple of them who broke that record. But it seems like that so many great players like Vivian Richards, Brain Lara, Steve Wauge, Clive Loide, Saeed Anwar, Saeed Afridi, Sanat Jayasurya and so on so many great players would have wished to reach that mark. But none could reach that mark. It is like that great record was meant for sachin Tendulkar. And not only that there are more such records which sachin tendulkar has made in his life span of the cricket career and althose records that he created was like just meant only for him. And some of his unbeatable records that he has made in the cricket history are as follows.

Following poor performance in the 2012 series against England, Tendulkar announced his retirement from One Day Internationals on 23 December 2012, while noting that he will be available for Test cricket. In response to the news, former India captain Sourav Ganguly noted that Tendulkar could have played the up-coming series against Pakistan, while Anil Kumble said it would be "tough to see an Indian (ODI) team list without Tendulkar's name in it", and Javagal Srinath mentioned that Tendulkar "changed the way ODIs were played right from the time he opened in New Zealand in 1994".
After playing his lone Twenty20 International in 2006 against South Africa, he stated that he would not play T20 Internationals any more. Later the BCCI confirmed that the two matches will be played at Kolkata and Mumbai, making the farewell happen at his home ground on Tendulkar's request. He scored 74 runs in his last Test innings against West Indies, thus failing short by 79 runs to complete 16,000 runs in Test cricket. The Cricket Association of Bengal and the Mumbai Cricket Association organized events to mark his retirement from the sport. Various national and international figures from cricket, politics, Bollywood and other fields spoke about him in a daylong Salaam Sachin Conclave organised by India Today.
